About Jump into Joy
Here at Jump into Joy, we are all about giving young women the confidence & tools to stay true to themselves and reach their full potential.
Our goal is to inspire, motivate, and teach girls valuable lessons about self-esteem, mindfulness, and positivity. We are here as a group to uncover our best selves and to remind ourselves of what truly makes us happy. We offer positive mindset workshops to teach girls life tools to work towards joy, success, and self-love.
We believe all girls can embrace who they are,
can define their own future, and can change the world.
We hope to inspire these amazing young women to light a fire in their hearts for a desire to stay true to themselves in honor and pursuit of their own inner happiness. Your daughter will learn how to use pow”HER” tools to assist her in staying true to herself despite life’s challenges.
She will gain life tools to work towards joy, success, and self-love. Through group discussion and physical activity our goal is to create an environment for self-discovery that leads to empowerment for the amazing young women who choose to be a part of this amazing “JUMP INTO JOY™ EXPERIENCE”!
About the creator
My name is Lisa Vaness, I am a mom of 3 wonderful children, 2 daughters and a son. I currently own a tumbling gym for 5 years in southern New Jersey. Prior to this, I owned an all-star cheerleading gym for 10 years. I have a BA in psychology and have always loved working with and inspiring children.
My personal desire to live a mindful life has led me to develop positive mindset habits which I believe young girls need to live a more confident and happy life.
I initially developed Jump Into Joy to be held in my tumbling gym, but soon realized that girls everywhere need these tools and I wanted this to be presented to as many girls as possible worldwide.
In my own self-discovery process, I became aware of how important these mindset tools would be to learn as a child, as opposed to waiting until adulthood.
Although some of the concepts may seem a bit mature, I worked hard to figure out how to teach on a child’s level and have had great success and feedback so far. In order to keep the girls engaged and internalizing the information, it is imperative that they are involved in discussion and physical activities throughout the workshop.
If we can get kids to stay true to themselves & remain confident through affirmations, feeling proud of their strengths, practicing gratitude, they will have a better chance at navigating life. My goal is to introduce these positive mindset tools to children (as opposed to adults) in hopes of instilling life-long habits that they will have to face life’s experiences on the offense instead of defense.
I would love to see them have tools in place that are just automatic/natural response tools to keep them calm, content, at peace, in which the result is staying true to themselves.
